Position Statement/Summary:

Vistant often offers opportunities for executive assistants at all seniority levels. These positions are typically based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area on a hybrid or onsite basis.

Executive assistants at Vistant typically support designated principals with the U.S. Agency for International Development or the U.S. Department of State.

Essential Job Responsibilities May Include

  • Providing direct administrative support to assigned principal(s).
  • Help design, plan, and coordinate, virtual trainings, workshops, brown bags, community practice meetings, and webinars.
  • Prepares, reviews, and revises correspondence, reports, proposals, or other documents related to work assignments.
  • Schedules meetings, maintains operating unit business calendars, and takes meeting notes.
  • Preparing domestic and international travel arrangements using E2 and/or other related government travel management systems.
  • Performs other substantive and confidential administrative tasks as requested.

Experience May Include

  • At least 2 years of relevant administrative experience in a professional office setting (junior-level).
  • At least 4 years of relevant administrative experience in a professional office setting (mid-level).
  • At least 6 years of relevant administrative experience in a professional office setting (senior-level).

Education May Include

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.

Required Skills May Include

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing growth environment.
  • Customer Service is driven towards all external and internal customers.
  • Unwavering professional integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company/employee information.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and/or maintain a Secret level clearance is typically required for these positions. A Secret security clearance involves a government investigation that requires the completion of an SF-86 form. Only candidates who are selected for hire will need to complete this document. Typical Place of Performance

  • Onsite and/or hybrid availability in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area or the ability to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area within a reasonable period.
